So you’re interested in CBD, huh? That’s great — and you are not alone. Millions of people worldwide have either started or are interested in using this amazing, naturally occurring plant compound to try and find relief for many different common ailments.

But like most people toeing the water of CBD remedies, you are no doubt skeptical of what many call a “miracle drug.” So we’ve put together a little fact sheet here for you for the journey. It will include the basic descriptions without getting too technical, explain some of the laws you’ll want to know, and brief explanations about what exactly CBD does in the body.

Our goal here is not to sell you a product, but rather provide the material you need to make informed decisions about CBD. At Divine Healing, we believe that education is the most important part of the discussion. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us via email. CBD is our passion and our livelihood!

So what is CBD?

CBD is short for Cannabidiol, which is one of the four main cannabinoids found in of the hemp plant. The other main part, tetrahydrocannabinol, aka THC, is the more commonly known (for now) cannabinoid due to the psychoactive properties. In total, there are 113 cannabinoids found in the hemp plant, many of which are naturally produced in the human body.

There are medical benefits to both THC, CBD and other cannabinoids, although CBD has a vast amount more. In fact, researchers are just scratching the surface of CBD’s potential.

CBD gets its medicinal properties from the fact that it binds to other endocannabinoids in the human body. That basically activates your body’s cannabinoids to reach a new, more robust potential. For explanations sake, it’s sort of like activating stem cells to do more than they are designed to do through unlocking their stored potential.

Is CBD legal?

CBD is now legal in all 50 states. In fact, because it does not get you “high,” you can buy it over the counter and online. In May 2018, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency said that as long as the CBD extracts contain less than .3 percent THC, it is considered legal nationwide under the U.S. 2018 Farm Bill.

So if you’re worried about the legalities of CBD, you can relax. We can’t say all CBD producers are selling CBD products that fit these federal guidelines, we can only speak for ourselves. Because we use CBD isolate, our products contain 0% THC. At Divine Healing, all our products are thoroughly checked and 3rd party lab tested to meet federal standards.

How can CBD help me and my family?

So this is where everything gets tough. How can we explain ALL the ways CBD can potentially help you and your family? Well, not a day goes by that we don’t hear about how CBD products have helped people with their medical issues. And what we found out a few years ago is that the benefits are not just reserved to humans. Pets, especially cats and dogs, have displayed the same benefits by using CBD oils in their diets.

However, due to federal regulations, we cannot make any claims about CBD helping any sort of medical condition. All we can say is that our prodcuts help promote overall wellness, and we encourage you to do your own research to find out how CBD can help you or your loved ones.

FDA DISCLOSURE: In accordance with federal regulation we cannot make health claims regarding our dietary supplements we can only recommend our products for general wellness. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any disease.

I cannot find anywhere on your website information on the percentage of CBD in your products. Can you help with this?

    • Gabriella Blau says:

      Hi Jill,
On each individual product page you will find the exact dosage of CBD in the product displayed. Either in the description or in the sizing options (drop-down menu). All you need to do is click on the “Shop” tab from the homepage, then click on which product you would like to learn more about, and there you will find that information. Let us know if you have any other questions.

I have a question. Does the 1000 mg bottles contain 1,000 mg of CBD, plus the other beneficial ingredients, or 1,000 mg including the other ingredients? I have been using CBD from Cannabliss Labs in Mesa, AZ but plan to switch to your product. Please reply to my question. Thad

    • Gabriella Blau says:

      Hi Thad,
Yes, the 1000mg bottle contains 1000mg of CBD, plus a small amount of the other herbs. All 3 strengths of our CBD tincture have the same amount of Bacopa, Moringa and Fo-Ti in them. The only thing that changes between the tinctures is the amount of CBD, i.e.: 1000mg bottle has 1000mg CBD; 500mg bottle has 500mg CBD; 250mg bottle has 250mg CBD. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

I’m using the 1000 mg Divine Healing CBD oil. What is the good, dosage to use . ( How many sprays and how often is good. ) Is there a proper dosage ? Thank you

    • Gabriella Blau says:

Hi Tony, there are usage directions on the back side of the bottle label, but you may take 1-5 sprays under the tongue up to 3x daily. Make sure you hold the liquid under your tongue for at least 30-60 seconds for the sublingual absorption to occur. You will get much more bio availability out of the cbd when you hold it under the tongue that way. Let us know if you have any other questions!
